Industrial Skills Enhancement Program : Contact Center Management
The Industrial Skills Enhancement Program : Contact Center Management (INSEP:CCM) is a highly innovative program funded by the federal government to trained local degree graduates to work in the contact center, customer care and service industry; industries that lack competent professionals. In 2007 alone, it is estimated that Malaysia will need 9,000 new Contact Center Professionals. To accommodate for such numbers the INSEP:CCM program was started.
This program is 5 months consisting of 2 months of training followed with 3 months of industrial attachment with customer service related companies.
During the 2 months training, the graduates will need to attend a total of 208 hrs of training in English -64 hours, Negotiation Skills -16 hours, Problem Solving Skills -16hours and Customer Care Management -96hours.
During the 3 months industrial attachment, the graduates are required to be attachment to a multinational, large local company or government link company.
During the entire 5 month duration of the program, the students in the program will be paid RM500 per month (by the Federal Government) to attend the class and industrial attachment.
There are three parties involved for this Program. The Penang Skills Development Center (PSDC) has been appointed by the Federal Government to oversee this program; ATCEN is the appointed regional trainer offering this program in the Klang Valley
