To complement the formal training at ATCEN there are a number of other ways in which development can be achieved:
Conscious application of new skills and knowledge gained from both experience and training.
Working on various assignments.
Working with peers or seniors to learn from experience.
Increasing responsibility on assignments as you show that you have the necessary capability - for example, attending key client meetings, presenting to clients, supporting development of sales proposals.
Gaining management responsibility, either for pieces of an assignment, or for the assignment overall.
Gaining internal responsibilities - for example, mentoring individuals, developing or executing training programs and supporting practice management processes.

Mentor
ATCEN recognizes that employees need support and guidance to assist their on-going professional development, so all employees are allocated a mentor when they join ATCEN.
One of the fastest ways for you to develop is to build a strong relationship with your mentor, who can guide and advise you informally about your potential and development needs. We take a deep interest in the ongoing professional and personal development of those who work and learn with us.
SGC Team
The Team establishes an informal relationship with the individual. The role of The Team is:
To act as an informal point of contact for the new joiner, ensuring an immediate and warm welcome.
To help new joiners understand the culture and values of ATCEN.
To assist new joiners in understanding the organization of their Practice or team.
To show new team members where all the essentials can be found and where to go for further assistance, particularly during their first week of joining.
